A very thoughtdul poem and great teacher-- thanks.
It is a beautiful lesson on patience. I love "a mountain waits for me... unfazedby my fumbling, my missteps"
Love the duality of this poem: the climbing must remember to keep at it, and the mountain must sit there... waiting for the climber to do her thing.
Love your title. I adore the patience of mountains. I like that you view the trail "steep, but not unkind", as you try to find your way. Loved this poem!
I like the way this looks on the page - puts me in mind of the mountain path you describe.
really enjoy the symbolism of a mountain as patience.you are right. it is many stepped, some slippery...but eventually you will arrive. so lovely.
You had me at the title! And the poem fulfilled my expectations. I love the simplicity, which nevertheless says it all.
Wondrous view from your mountain~
pace and observation - a fruitful joining, here ~
Thanks for all your comments. :)
Oh, yes, indeed. Enlightening, this path and touching.
Beautiful words filled gentleness and kind beauty.
Susan and Liz: thanks for your comments.
