I think I will forever associated this blue stone bird with the joy of visiting a playground. :) So, I guess I thought it might qualify as a totem.Ravenblackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07408808375869234480noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5462814069356368476.post-30475181182605222552012-02-25T07:55:22.270+08:002012-02-25T07:55:22.270+08:00was so pleased to see you on the blog-roll, showin...was so pleased to see you on the blog-roll, showing a new poem. The title is great, totems are used differently depending on the culture of the holder. In native american tribal traditions a totem often represents identity of place, person or thing. In magic, a totem can be used to capture identity, as well as use in rites…so much more, anyhow, a really cool title, fits well in different ways. Love the way this piece is written, flowing easily, almost as if each line inspired the creation of the next. Relic/on the sand//filled playground/ultramarine… lovely progression. and the ending was perfect. Anyway, a good read, thanks.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05885047796180529498noreply@blogger.com
