The world is a stage, literally.

Mocked and banned,
returns again and again.

Same hands. Same brain.
Different names.

A sockpuppet is an online identity used for purposes of deception. The term—a reference to the manipulation of a simple hand puppet made from a sock—originally referred to a false identity assumed by a member of an internet community who spoke to, or about himself while pretending to be another person.[1] The term now includes other uses of misleading online identities, such as those created to praise, defend or support a third party or organization,[2] or to circumvent a suspension or ban from a website. A significant difference between the use of a pseudonym[3] and the creation of a sockpuppet is that the sockpuppet poses as an independent third-party unaffiliated with the puppeteer. Many online communities have a policy of blocking sockpuppets. - Wikipedia.

I would have never known an innocent sockpuppet could be so disruptive... but I'm not at all surprised.

wow, I've never heard this expression before, but there have been times on message boards that I've felt, this person has to be the same one, too glowing of comments over something I felt was meh, or unworthy at all. I also have thought of fake names and such on Amazon in the product reviews. Nicely done, Raven. excellent piece. Thanks

There are some of those apples in every barrel, as Mom would say. Sad people.

Okay,I fess up, I'm not really Jannie the songster-poet-eBay-seller in Texas, I'm Boris the spy and pastry chef in Russia. :) :)

xoox

:D

I'd say you play the role of a songster-poet very very well, Boris. I think you should retire from being a spy and be a songster-poet-pastry chef-ebay-seller cross continent instead. Can't be easy being a spy when there's pesky things like Wikileaks about.

WOW! No, I am not really naive at all. But, it would never occur to me to do something like this. I am: "what you see is whet you get." As a result I look at people whether in real life or on the Internet as real. You have me thinking about this now Ravenblack and I am thinking about the wasted energy and the negative energy that must be used to accomplish being a Sock-Puppeteer. There is so much else that actually needs doing in this world. What an awful waste of time.

It probably makes one feel much worse about oneself to do such a thing. There's a community where some guy is continually doing it to maybe wreck revenge on the forum at which he has been banned.

Seriously, if one is not wanted, one should just go away. I was never banned from anywhere but I've been told to leave in very indirect terms. And you know what, perhaps it was for the better. I would never found kinder and wiser communities and I think I've grown because of interacting with folks like you.
