i like your keen observations here. they don't use metal blades anymore, too many injuries, cable ties are safer. and i smiled at the image of the mynah lording over those workers. those birds are that arrogant. :D
Ravenblack ... this reminds me of a haiku with how you have used your words. And I really like that. The salad mix is brilliant. Love the touch of the Mynah bird. In a bit I am going to go to your Flicker album and see if there is one there.
dsnake: Mynahs have much to comment every morning too. :D
Raven: I did try to capture one perched in the park yesterday but it flew away as I drew near. I don't have a good camera for capturing birds at a distance.
The middle lines alone have a haiku structure. It's possible to drop the other details and leave it that.
Oh yuck... I read somewhere they say we eat at least several spiders during our lifetimes while we are asleep. Sobering thought isn't it. As for Brian's snake... Yikes! Nice piece of nature, without the bugs ...haha

haha mowing the lawn/preparing the salad....it got extra meat yesterday on mine as i killed a copperhead while tearing down a fence before mowing...
Oh, you made me laugh and wince at the same time. Awesome!
great piece Raven. I love the observation style here, but you really took it to another level in what I'll call part 2. Thanks
Brian: a snake! A good thing you got it first before it got you, or at least it didn't get to strike (I hope).
Anna: cool. :)
Fred: I guess I can't leave a 'haiku' alone.
Thanks for your comments. :) Much appreciated.
Oh yuk! Can you imagine how many insects/insect parts we really consume. Fun one.
We probably have more than we can imagine. Don't wanna think about it...
:)

Ha...very cute. Yeah, I'm sure we ingest more nonfood items than we would even imagine. I'm not thinking about it either!

Thanks Daydreamer. :)
Can't escape bugs here. We have no relief with season changes as we are in the tropics.
I like word format and creative use of the lawn and salad mix ~ Hope the bugs are not too many ~
Happy day to you ~
Thanks Grace, hope your day is great too. :)
hmmmm ! Reminds me of my dear W.C. Williams... and myself.
Great piece!
Thanks dulce. :) That's quite a compliment. :)
