e-Wonders

Thanks to the folks at Promising Poets Poetry Cafe for this award.

The Perfect Poet Award 4 Poets Rally Week 47

This poem is something I wrote a while back, it's just how I feel when I post my work on the web.  :)

Electronic

With each post
she deposits
a little bit
of herself

and distributes it
to all the world's
browsers
linking in,

connecting
to her space
reading
what's on her
mind.

Every hour
she logs in
to see
what everyone
thinks of it.

++++

I accept this award with gratitude. Thanks to those who voted for me.

I would like to nominate Elaine Danforth, zenmirror and dsnake for the Perfect Poet Award Week 48.

Thanks Jingle. :)

Potluck: I see if I can make it tonight. I have a bit trouble due to time constraints and such getting in line to join the Monday Potluck especially after posting for the Thursday rally.

for poetry potluck, share, relax, no commenting pressure.

do the visit within a week or let go, that's a different style.

respect your decision.

:) Cool, well I'll see how it goes, I'll peek on the entries anyway, as for myself: depends on whether the poem is done. :D

Congratulations! I like the idea of an electronic theme, it works well.

that's what i feel too, deposits a little bit of myself when i post. :)

the world will never be the same after the internet intrude into our lives. and to think that it evolved from a cold war strategy to send messages securely...

congrats on the award, and much thanks for nominating me.. :)

For awhile we ask,
Are we up for the task,
Of stringing words with style,
Because we see ourselves on trial,
Do you like this or do you like this way?
Our words, our thoughts are on display,
We want to know if we're getting hits,
Our vanities are alive in pieces and bits.

Your poem is very appropriate. Thank you.

Thanks everyone. :)

Old Raven, thanks again for nominating me for this one.

dsnake: yes indeed, something developed in hostility turning into something good.

danroberson: thanks for your verse and thought. I do often ask myself those questions. :)

Nice job. That is an amazing award post. Love the idea about the transmitting of pieces of yourself with each post. Really set the tone and flow. Thanks:)
